    REM security management console reports

    Good Morning!

I was wondering how to go about editing the reports generated from the REM console.  I am looking to create a custom report or CSV showing at least the audit ID, machine affected, and severity.  I was also reading that we can customize reports to show company information such as logos, etc.  Is there some sort of guide out there for this?

    Thanks!

I am not sure myself, since I have not touched REM personally, but if you have purchased REM you are entitled to support through your own customer portal located at:

    https://www.eeye.com/clients/login.html?access=0&target=&rnd=090615.114049.734521.10

"bpatten" from eEye may be able to answer your question if he sees this post, I know he is the one in charge of making the Blink and REM webinar videos that the company offers for people to view and attend online.

Re: REM security management console reports

    Hi Clarknd,

REM can generate a variety of reports in a variety of formats and filters and groupings. If you're looking to do custom reporting, there are a few ways to go about it. One, run a Vulnerabilities Export Report in REM (will output a CSV for you). Two, go to Assets, checkbox the machines you want (you can also apply a filter), then click the Vulnerabilities lower tab, then click Export button (export to CSV, tab, or XML). Also we can provide the DB Schema if necessary to let you write your own SQL Query via support ticket (www.eeye.com/clients) or in a future update in REM you can create your own stored procedure to create a custom report.

    Hope that helps.
