In addition to the Security center issue noted in the topic "Firewall not working!" I have noticed two very big problems with the Blink firewall, one I recall reporting more than a year ago.
1. Firewall kills network activity. - At some seeming random point in time the network just stops working. Disabling the Blink Firewall in Quick Configuration quickly fixes the problem. The Firewall can be re-enabled and the network works again (until the next reoccurance). This was reported by me back in Blink 3.0 beta.
2. Firewall causes VNC connections to freeze. Soon (5 minutes) after initiating a VNC connection (test using LAN based PC to PC connection) the connection just freezes. The VNC will then time out after about 20 minutes and die. The connection can be closed and reinitiated without problem, but this is very inconvenient. Disabling the Blink Firewall and the problem no longer occurs and VNC connections can remain running for hours even days.
I suspect both these issues have to do with the amount of traffic (testing I nearly saturate the 100MBit network connection), the switch is cabable of handling over 1GBit, but all connections are limited to 100Mbit. Without the firewall it can be fully saturated before I experience packet loss.
