HELP: Conflict with another Security Program

     Hello to all.

I am currently working on a project that uses eEye Retina Network Security. I am having problems with it conflicting with another program. This program scans the local system and lists potential vulnerabilities. Now, when I run eEye Retina, it audits some issues but it conflicts with the other program. For example, eEye Retina wants this a particular service on while the other program wants it disabled. The company is more in favor with the other program but would still like to utilize eEye Retina. Is there any way to change the settings of eEye Retina regarding the audits that it finds?

Thank you very much in advance.

What exactly, audit wise, is conflicting between the two programs?

Just because Retina says disable a particular service that another product does not, does not mean you have to.  It is purely a recommendation that you have to decide upon yourself depending on the needs of your organization.

Can you post the audits that are conflicting from both products?  What operating system are these audits showing up on?

eEye controls what audits are being looked for.  Keep in mind, eEye is also trying to meet all of the regulatory standards outlined on the following webpage: http://www.eeye.com/html/compliance/index.html

So based on what these compliancy standards require, is going to determine what Retina's audits need to look for.
