baldys15:Hello I have a few questions on the Blink Personal 4.5 Beta or program can be used on a daily basis, whether it is better to install a stable version?
The Blink Personal Edition Beta 4.5 is currently only for use on Windows 7. It is still in a final testing stage.
If you are using Windows Vista or Windows XP, you should use Blink Personal Edition 4.4.3. You can download version 4.4.1 from:
http://download.cnet.com/eEye-Blink-Personal-Free-Complete-PC-Security/3000-2239_4-10658343.html?part=dl-113677&subj=dl&tag=buttonversion
Version 4.4.1 will update itself to version 4.4.3.
4.4.3 is the most stable version of Blink Personal Edition, but it can't be used on Windows 7.
baldys15:Whether something is improved when it comes to detecting malware, the program has for example, heuristics and detection module rookits? How he deals with the detection malware? or created separate versions of Blink Edtion eg Antivirus, Internet Security, etc., or blink as a personal automatic update database?
I have tried to explain Blink Personal Edition the best that I could here for new users: http://forums.eeye.com/forums/t/998.aspx?PageIndex=1
baldys15:if you can send viruses, eg the e-mail or create the appropriate department.
If you find files that you think should be detected as something bad (that aren't being detected by Blink currently) OR you find something that is being detected (that you think is a false-positive) you can zip up these files with the password infected on the zip archive and send them to
malware@eeye.com . eEye will have to send them to the AV company Norman to fix or add them. In your email be sure to include whether or not you think the files you are submitting are malicious or are false-positives.
Are you from Poland? I know Blink Personal Edition is free to users (for one year) in the US and Canada but I am not sure about Poland. Someone from eEye will have to comment on this to be sure.
