Blink Personal 3.1.1 Locks Up Outlook 2003

WinXP Pro SP2.  No other security software of any kind. Since installing Blink Personal 3.1.1 (looks & works great except for this!) I have experienced Outlook 2003 locking up more than 9 sessions out of 10.  (The 1 session that did not lock up was very short.)  This lockup occurs under my administrative privileges account and my limited access users account, in both off-line sessions and on-line sessions.  There is no one action that brings on lockup.  In about 1/3 to 1/2 of sessions Outlook never even gets fully loaded before locking up.  When locked-up, the sub-window "End Now" can not stop the process, Windows Task Manager must be used.  Please let me know what I should try or work on.

(I do have some recent updating to do and perhaps an Outlook update is among them.  I will work on the updates on Monday and let you know.)

Are you running any Outlook Add-ins...

    Spam Software..

If you are running Cloudmark - they had a major oops in their last update that crashes outlook on some machines... easy to fix it thou...well easy to fix once you know thats the issue...

Thanks, it was an Outlook COM Add-in:  Slovak Technical Service's AttachmentOptions that allows a user to bypass Outlook's too-severe rules on the availability of email attachments based on the user's selection of allowed, attachment file extensions.

I think most outlook add-ins are garbage at best - its like the thing people remember to do last minute then write them very badly or Outlook just hates them in general .... You should see how terrible the one for ACT contact management is.,, it can hang outlook for 20 minutes plus... yep all those were removed... Computers - they make your life easier - right??
