I have spend many hours trying to troubleshooot my 2 XP machines running 3.1.0 updated to 3.2.2 ver1417. Computers lockup when I receive an error 'blink engine (blinksvc) does not start'. A hard reboot must be accomplished to get the unit working again. This happens everytime Blink attempts to start their engine over the last 30 days. Auto update appears to be working as the lastest versions are loaded but a manual update locks up the computer.
I have read all the forum posts and have attempted to uninstall 3.1.0 Beta with no luck in any manner suggested by the Eeye staff. Attempted reinstalling/unstalling of Beta version and 3.2 version of no help as Error 1705 reboot & reinstall does not work. Appears that there is no way to delete/uninstall 3.1.0 to install a new clean 3.2.2.
Can anyone offer any help?? I have noted similar problems from 'azpilot' forum post recently. If I could get the blink engine to start properly I would not have to uninstall the Blink program. If I need to unistall 3.1.0 to resolve the blink engine freeze problem then I need some direction to get Blink off my computer before reinstall.
Note: I am sending 'Inicula' my debug file as mentioned to AZpilot.
