    TiVo Desktop networking issue

Perhaps someone has experience with TiVo Desktop. What I was able to do, until I installed Blink, was  go into my TiVo, and it would show my desktop computer as a source of programs. I could then transfer files (video podcasts I downloaded from the Internet, mostly) from my desktop computer to my TiVo. Now my desktop computer does not even appear. I can go the other way, and see the programs on my TiVo box from my desktop computer, since I added a rule to allow traffic on my local network. I am not sure what to try next. I looked at the logs, and I did not see any evidence that anything was blocked, but clearly something is blocking it.

    Thank you,

THank you for thetip. The one I found was about enabling two rules, 500013 and 510000 I believe. I enabled them, but that did not resolve the problem.

Switch the Firewall in Passive mode and wait until it works. Then open the Log Viewer select Firewall rules one by one and after inspecting the entry, right click the entry and select Create Rule. Switch back the Firewall from Passive mode in Active mode and you are good to go.

    Re: TiVo Desktop networking issue

I may have spoken too soon. I rebooted and now I can see the computer from the TiVo box.

     Thanks everyone for the help.
