    W32/PurityScan.BIZ ?False Positive?

I did a Google search on this and came up empty.  A filed called GmailFS.dll was flagged for this adware/malware.

It should not have been.  The GmailFS.dll file is necessary to run the Gmail Drive program which allows one to use their Gmail account as online storage in Explorer.

I switched it over to trusted, but now the entirety of W32/PurityScan.BIZ is trusted when all I want to do is trust the dll file Blink flagged.

I use Gmail on two PC's both with Blink 3.1.5 and never had this FP.

     Can you verify the dll?

You would not have the dll unless you installed Gmail Drive.  This is not an adware or malware progam.  It is a great utility I have used for many months.  It was recently upgraded to get around the new Gmail login code.  Now Blink is flagging it, unnecessarily in my view.

Can you please send the pasword protected zipped file to malware@eeye.com?

We will analyze it and remove the false positive if found.

    Thanks!
