"Licence is illegally restored" while transfering profiles

    Hello,

I am currently in the process of transferring system files and applications from one computer to another for a client's Home office computer. Both computers are Windows XP Pro SP2 with all critical windows Updates. The original computer has Blink Personal installed and my client would like to continue to use your product on their new computer.

I have used the application called PCmover to transfer the applications and system setting over. When I attempt launch Blink Personal, I receive a Licensing Management error message, "Licence is illegally restored. An error has been encountered. If the problem persists, please contact our support department at licensing@eeye.com. "

I have successfully un-installed the application in Safemode, deleted Blink %UserName% profile, all the files and all related registry keys, that I can find linked to "eEye", and "Blink". Then re-installed the application from a fresh download and the error continues.

My client is familiar with your product and would like to continue to us your product to protect their computers. If you have any ideas as to what I may be able to do to resolve this I would be thankful.

    In short "Help!!"

While the License error is displayed, press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-D then close and restart Blink. This should reset your license and next time Blink starts it will re-activate online. Let us know if this is solving your client's issue.
