    Vulnerability Scan, P2P, Update

    Hello,

I like Blink.  I've never put it under rigrous tests though.  What I have notice though is that there are three main issues.  One, most Internet Security Suite's indicate when there are no updates.  With the beta blink and earlier versions, I notice you can update the same updates over and over without any message from Blink.  I think you ought to add a feature which tells the user when updates are not needed.

Second, the vulnerability scan pulls up Microsoft Office Vulnerabilities even though I don't have office on this machine right now.  Maybe it confuses Microsoft Works with Office?

Third, what is the best way to configure Blink's firewall with a P2P program I wonder?  Right now even though I've allowed my P2P program, I cannot connect to the Internet with it.  I've changed the firewall rules to allow for the specific port my P2P program uses by default.  I don't know, it may be some problem with my current proxy.  I don't think it is a problem with Blink-Beta.

Thats all for now.  Hope it helps.

I am not 100% sure, but I think Microsoft Works usese a lot of the same code base as Microsoft Office does, hence this is why Blink is telling you that.  Microsoft Works is a nice slimmed down version of Microsoft Office.  Someone may correct me on this if I am wrong though.
