Blink Beta 4 Blocks Windows Mobile Sync

Platform Vista x64.  I could not get the windows mobile device center to recognize my handheld until I tried shutting down Blink.  That was the first odd thing that happened.  Next, after rebooting both the PC and the handheld Windows Sync Center would not see the device.  If I shut down Blink it would then sync to my Exchange server.  If I restart Blink after performing a successful sync the Sync Center appears to stay connected.  If I disconnect the device and reconnect it then Windows does not see it if Blink is running.  Then I attempted to add an application rule for %SystemRoot%\System32\mobsync.exe to let it do anything and still no connection.

Does this happen if you disable the firewall engine?

Yes, I selected disable firewall protection and WMDC does not see that I have a windows mobile device connected.  If I then shutdown Blink entirely it does see the WM device.

Can you please continue this process of disabling engines one by one until you find the one that causes this to happen?

In my testing I have found that having Virus and Spyware protection enabled allows WMDC to function.  If I enable Intrusion Prevention, System Protection, or Firewall the windows mobile device does not connect.
