    Suggestion for eEye on-line shop

For Blink Personal users, what about an option to either specify the date that you want the license to run from, or a field to enter your existing licence number and have it automatically start the licence from when the first one finishes.

I'm guessing that Blink Professional users don't have this problem because they can either extend the life of the existing licence key, or get a new one via the customer portal and then push it out to all clients using some kind of management console. But I can't buy Blink Professional now, since the option to buy only 1 assett has disappeared and the smallest number you can get is 10!

But us "Personal" users might not want our security to lapse by waiting until the very day the licence expires before buying the next one (and risking a delay in receiving the new code), nor do we want to buy the next subscription while the old one still has a few days left and thereby "waste" those few days by having the subscriptions overlap.
    Kind Regards,

    Andy

    Very good points Jarvis!

We are working on an entirely new process to handle subscription updates. Before that is completed, a Blink Personal subscription can be extended by purchasing a new Serial Number. As you said, it is almost impossible to time them perfectly so the new one starts at the exact time the other one expires.

However if you purchase one when Blink says there is one day left the risk of not having the license in time should be very small.

Thank you you very much for your feedback!

Speaking of subscriptions, it seems that my "whining" via eEye's feedback form about not selling single Blink Professional licenses anymore has paid off.  I got a response to my complaint and it seems sometime next week they will be offering single licenses again.  I hope so! (Crosses his fingers).
