How to View Blink's Capture Files

Has anyone wondered how to view Blink's capture files?  I asked eEye how to do this and I will provide their instructions on how to do so (see below).

I noticed Blink's capture files are saved as .cap files. Wireshark, Packetyzer, and other programs support these file extensions. Wireshark however, will not open Blink's capture files because it says they are not a recognized format. Can Blink's catpture files only be opened by Iris and nothing else?

    Hello Jeffrey,

To find info on bandwidth utilization and all related parameter from the captured file, use the Data Miner option from the File Menu. Inside it, there is the option to fill traffic graphs which shows the values for the traffic from various files selected to show from.

To obtain a text file with Session Decoded content, use the Decode Logging feature. Open Log settings dialog and enable Decode logging. Then load the capture files that need to be processed and a log file will be generated.

    Thanks,
    Dennis A.
