    Blink 4.1.2?

Hi, I see from the announcements forum that Blink 4.1.2 has been released. My Blink version is still 4.1.1.  How do I update to the latest version, and what changes have been made to 4.1.2 from 4.1.1?

    Thanks for any help,

    Mick.

    Yes, please see here:  http://forums.eeye.com/forums/t/777.aspx

4.1.2 simply updates the Application Protection policy a little.  Nothing else was changed.

Hi Jeffrey, Thanks for the reply. The link you posted was the one that prompted me to ask the question. The problem I have is, if you follow the link in Inicula's post (to: http://forums.eeye.com/forums/t/771.aspx ), there is no mention of version 4.1.2. Also, shouldn't Blink update itself to 4.1.2 from 4.1.1, as mine doesn't (I'm running Blink Pro btw...)? Thanks again, Mick.

    Re: Blink 4.1.2?

Ahhh yes, Blink Professional, yes I have that too.  Blink Professional is currently only at version 4.1.1.  The only reason the Personal Edition is up to 4.1.2 is because the application policy had to be adjusted.  In 4.1.1 it was set too strictly (because it was using the Professional Edition's policy settings) and had to update and change it (hence 4.1.2 was released to address this).

Any version of Blink Professional you will find via your Client Portal:  https://www.eeye.com/clients/login.html?access=0&target=&rnd=081020.095932.156794.780   You are entitled customer support via this portal.

You do not dowload Blink Professional the same way all user of Blink Personal Edition do.

Many thanks for this information. I knew about the portal downloads/support, but thought it strange that it wasn't offering the 4.1.2 version. I didn't realise this update was for for the personal edition only. Cheers, Mick.

Hi again, Thanks for pointing that thread out. It's a shame you never got a response as I too would've like to have known the answer... Mick.
