Which services should be running upon startup

I have noticed when I start my XP computer that Blink.exe is not running. I only have blinkrm.exe, blink.svc, and EEYEEVNT.exe running.

It seems that this is not correct. I can without trouble start the blink.exe program from that start menu.

I looked in msconfig to see if I had accidentely removed it there but no sign of anything related to Blink.

Anybody else has this or any idea what might be wrong.

Running Blink Personal AV 1.0.534 , Vulnerability Scanner version 5.9.1

    Thanks!

Is the problem with the latest version of Blink 4.1.4?  http://forums.eeye.com/forums/t/786.aspx   (version 4.1.3 updates to 4.1.4).

If the option to allow or disallow Blink from starting on your system is not present under the startup tab of msconfig, then it sounds like Blink did not create the appropriate registry key as it should have.  It may end up that you will have to un-install Blink and then do a fresh installation.  I would recommend redownloading a fresh copy of the installer package from the forum post link above.

Here is a recommendation list of steps to follow that I created to help folks that are having un-installation/re-installation issues with Blink.

What version do you see in the About Box?

Can you please sent this file to blink.debug@eeye.com

    c:\Program Files\Common Files\eEye Digital Security\SyncIt\debug_syncit.log

    Thank you!
