Blink Personal not working on 4_1

Well, of all days not to work, Blink has stopped working, and I can't log into the website to download it again.  I paid for this 2 months ago, and now on the day the trojan worm comes out, and I'm without any protection.

After calling eEye, they tell me no phone support?

    Error:

" The Blink service failed to start.  Please perform a Blink repair from the add/remove programs app.  Cause:  The directory can not be removed."

The only thing done with this pc in the last 3 days (with blink working) has been a blink update.

Did you purchase a Blink Professional or Personal Edition license?  When you say log into the website, I assume you mean Blink Professional, because that is the only one that you have to actually log into a website to download.

I would recommend that you uninstall Blink from your system by using Add/Remove Programs in Window's Control Panel.  If you have Blink Personal Edition, download a fresh copy of it from: http://free-antivirus.eeye.com/

The only issue you might have is if you have a purchased license for Blink Personal Edition and you do not remove it before un-installing Blink.  If you can't remove it (because you can not start Blink) that may be an issue you can not avoid.  Here is a post thought that explains how to properly remove your Blink license.

Finally, you might consider following the instructions I have posted at the link below on how clean up your system and how to remove and re-install Blink successfully:
