I am a new user that just switched from AVG free to Blink because it seemed to be more robust. I was able to update it quite frequently with no problems but lately i keep getting red X's next to all components with a message saying "one or more dependancies of the current application failed to be updated." Without being able to update frequently, i can not be protected against new malware and viruses. I have tried opening the console and using the update feature from there but it still fails. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any word on a fix because i do not want to be without updated protection. I even considered buying a license but not if i cant update it.
It seems the eEye update servers are temporarily down as I too am having the same problem.

My blink service will not update for last few days, any news - I have looked at
and have to report the problem is not fixed.
You might want to try a fresh installation of Blink Personal Edition. It sounds as though something is corrupted somewhere. The update servers have been working fine for the past week or so, I have not had any issues. You may want to uninstall Blink, clean up your system with something like the free program CCleaner (http://forums.eeye.com/forums/p/752/3203.aspx#3203) and then download a fresh copy of Blink Personal Edition and install it again.
