Hi all,
We've got an eEye Retina 651 appliance that we use to demo to our customers. When I recieve the unit back I want to reimage it each time with the USB image we got with the box to wipe out all the previous customers details and have it new for a new evaluation.
Unfortunately when I've tried to reimage the device it gives a error halfway through the process:
Error(22): restore_image: lseek: Invalid argument
After this it writes to the MBR and gives a standard unix prompt which I then type 'shutdown -r now' to reboot the appliance.
Once it reboots and loads up XP it gives the following error box:
lsass.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click ok to terminate the application.
Clicking 'ok' then shows the eEye Digital Security background, but does not show a login prompt, it just hangs at the background. I've waited a few hours thinking that it might be loading but still doesnt give me the login prompt. I'm suspecting that something has run foul with the re-imaging.
Just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas or could offer any tips to fault-find this problem?
Regards,
Allan
