Audit 9711 Visual Studio Active Template Library

    Morning,

This audit keeps coming up on workstations that are patched.  A search of the forumns states that Audit 9711 is looking for %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC edist\x86\Microsoft.VC80.ATL\atl80.dll.  This file does not exist on the culprit workstations.  A search of the drive for ATL80.dll yielded no results.  What else could this audit be finding?

    Thank in advance.

What Operating Systems are you running on the machines that this audit is showing up on?

    Sorry,

Windows XP SP3.  Turns out to be a dead issue.  The Vulnerbility report says that the audit number is 9711, but in the remediate tab the ID to select for the report is 9714.  Turns out that registry key did not have the install key set.  I deleted the registry key and the vulnerability went away.
