Ok I downloaded the new version 4.0 of Blink and it still took 90 minutes for Blink to initialize. When I start disabling things boot times improve but to achieve that I give up protection. I couldn't email the log file. It was too big almost 92MB so I will try to post it here.   Ok I give up. I can't do anything with a 92MB text file. My computer is just ckoing on it. I can't email or copy and paste. It just freezes on it. I will download the latest 4.0 ver and see if that fixes the problem. Thanks ...

No I don't I'm still using ver. 3.5.7. on Win xp. That might be worth a try if all else fails.

Ok I'm back. With the anti virus engine disabled my PC booted in under 30 seconds. So malware protection is off whts the next step in fixing this? Scottt
