  • Re: Update for Blink component of 4.4.1 Fails

It seems to work perfectly now.  However it does not find any updates saying that all components are up to date.  I imagine the issue with the server did not necessarily mean that I had updates to the blink application that the process could not apply.  I assumed it did but maybe not.  I just thought it worth mentioning that ...

  • Re: Update for Blink component of 4.4.1 Fails

I too have been having the update fail, alternating between the "required sturcture" message and the Cache message.  This occurs on both of my systems, both currently patched XP boxes.  I have been successfully getting the antivirus updates.

  • Re: Firefox vulnerability memory corruption 3.0.10

I ran the full install as you suggested.  I didn't do an uninstall first hoping this might work.  I have a number of add-ons that would need to be reinstalled and customized, witch is a pain to do.  It worked however.  I ran a scan with the current (2081) version as of this hour and it was still there before the reinstall ...

  • Firefox vulnerability memory corruption 3.0.10

For some time now I have been seeing a critical vulnerability showing up for firefox.  It says the answer is to upgrade to 3.0.10 or newer.  I have been on 3.0.10 for some time now.  I keep expecting to see Blinks scanner version to be updated to see this but it doesn't happen.  I made certain that blink was updated and ran ...

  • Re: Emergency Licensing Issue

Eeye sent me an email early yesterday evening telling me that I have been reset to 2 active licences and that worked fine.  Thank You.   I would like to document how to handle Blink Personal licenses for myself and anyone else who might search these archives.  As I mentioned before, I did do some searching and found others who had ...

  • Emergency Licensing Issue

I had to reinstall the OS due to a drive failure.  I chose to reinstall rather than go back to an Acronis Image due to a number of reasons no one would be interested in. I reinstalled Blink from a download I had last July.  It told me my licence key had already been used as it tried to re-register me.  I uninstalled Blink.  ...

  • Re: Please read this who has POP3 Mail issues.

No, it wasn't the rules.  It was your bad fix on 4.2.0.  I wrote that 421 had not been released out of beta on 1/5 at 11 pm and it had not.  Today I found it had installed and all is well on all systems now.

  • Re: Please read this who has POP3 Mail issues.

I had been waiting for the fix to come out in production, but finally used the beta server on one machine yesterday.  I did change the update server back to default.  I do most of my email on that system and it became quite a pain to disable intrusiion prevention before each download and enable again afterwards.  It seems to have ...
