    I got it.  (No event log entries this time.) Once I downloaded and installed Visual C++ 2008 SP1 redist. pkg, unistalled Blink and reinstalled, the startup warning went away, Phew.

    Yes.  This did help.  Thanks.  I had to download and install the Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package.  Then the installer completed.     Deep (2/3) into the installer process, after files are copied I get a dialog box that says: "Installer Information" "Error 1904.
