Forgive me if there is an answer to this somewhere. I couldn't find it through the search engine. I'm using Blink Personal 4.4.3 on six computers on my network. I have seven computers and a laptop, the seventh computer has Kaspersky Beta for Win 7 and is running Win 7 32 bit. My laptop is running...

  • Re: Windows 7 Beta

I can answer portions of your post: [quote user="biosci3c"]I am currently running Blink 4.4.1 on Windows 7 RC 32-bit. It works great (seems better than on XP SP3). However, there are a couple of issues. I have had a few BSODS, which I have traced back to blink (several occured in a row, but...

  • Firewall rules not taking effect

I have had this happen to me twice in the last two days. It would seem that the firewall rules that I have would not take effect. I would test this by unchecking the rule for firefox, and connections would still be allowed without Blink's firewall asking for it. After a reboot, the rules seem to...

  • Firewall Rules Needed To Allow Linksys Router To Control HOSTS File - New User

I just installed Blink Personal this afternoon and have come across my first "problem". My Linksys WRT54G router downloads an ad-blocking hosts file into RAM and automatically installs it to be used by dnsmasq at router bootup. It stays up to date by redownloading each Friday at 2.00pm. I have...
